About the Doctor

Michael H. Fritsch, MD, FACS

Dr. Fritsch is a Board-certified expert, recognized both nationally and internationally, in the treatment of ear disease, inner ear and skull-base surgery. Additionally, Dr. Fritsch is recognized for his expertise in Salivary Endoscopy and Lithotripsy. Dr. Fritsch invented the technique of "Incisionless Otoplasty" for lop ear deformity.

Dr. Fritsch achieved distinction as Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine and Medical Center. He is frequently invited as a guest professor in the United States; he has also been invited to speak on college campuses throughout the world. Dr. Fritsch serves on the review board of six scientific journals. He has been named in "Best Doctors in America", "America's Top Doctors", and in the Consumer Council's "Top Otology-Neurotology Surgeons" and "Top Cosmetic Surgeons" rankings.

Dr. Fritsch has written three medical books. The books are titled "Congenital and Early Onset Hearing Loss", "Atlas of Paranasal Sinus Surgery", and "Sialendoscopy and Lithotripsy". Additionally, Dr. Fritsch has written over 40 scientific, peer-reviewed journal articles. He has contributed numerous book chapters. Dr. Fritsch is regularly invited to give oral presentations about his scientific research and work at peer-reviewed national and international meetings.
